About me

My name is Gill Butt,  I am a nature loving, self taught, amateur watercolour artist based in the village of North Somercotes which nestles in the wonderful coastal landscape of North East Lincolnshire. 

 

My paintings and sketches are inspired by my immense love of all forms of nature, be it landscapes, birds and wildlife, flora, fungi, astrology....  the list is never ending.

 

Nature journalling is also a hobby and I take great pleasure in recording in paint, pencil, and text my ramblings in the country as well as finds in my garden.
